Ok, it seems that the ILCR people have decided which version (if any) they wanted to use, so consider this version (mapfile only -- original available on combatmaps.de or Realmaps) the definitive 'fix' version.

Some servers may still be using the original version, so it may be wise to hang on to the original EAS-INF-ReactorSector46 map -- for the time being at least.
In essence, there are several bug fixes, and the initial attack is slowed down by various means (enlarged attacker spawn, new door to open, etc) in order to give the defence time to get set up.
The walkways should be penetrable by higher calibre weapons (but not, e.g. by a silenced MP5), but if not, either you're shooting at too shallow an angle, or you've not applied the relevant penetration fix mutator (I forget the details; perhaps someone can post the relevant information).
