I'm not playing INF very often on the official online servers, more often I host my own games and play with a few people from real life. The reason to do this is basically that I like to play on other maps than those "standard maps" (Chasm, Kazakastan etc) and freely choose mutators - RA286 are a favourite right now - but sometimes I also find it fun to play with crazy mutators as with zombies and "handgrenades only"! I also like to do agreements with those I play with on different ways to play that mutators cant fix.
IN SHORT: To host myself give freedom to influence the game various ways = more playful fun than competition only.
Unfortunately my INF-playing real-life-mates are quite few and have VERY little time over to spend on playing so now I wanna check the forum for more people who like to play INF in this alternative way. If u wanna influence the way u play INF - let me know and the next step is to decide when to play! And HOW to play of course!
By the way: I dont think the fact that INF 2.9 soon are here should influence my will to play in this way from time to time.
