We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Play it, yes.

Play it optimally, how should we know at this point, it's still a year off. And a year is a long time in computer land.

SLI option makes for great leverage there. One year's time a 7800 will be even more affordable.

Also the motherboard will have support for a dualcore chip, and that should help expediate the engine as it's designed to make use of multicore.

He can play it well to start with, and if he still feels the need to upgrade there are two sound options open to him.

Yeah- plenty of overclocking scope in a 3500+ - It'll run as fast as my 3200+ with a bit of effort (!)

What's this SLI everyone keeps mentioning?
Scalable Link Interface. Search it on google.
Basicly it uses 2 graphics cards that work together to "in theory" double performance (its never that effeicient) Its NVidia only, but will soon be rivalled by ATI's crossfire.

@rhirud
Whats your 3200+ running at?

It should run, just a question of how well. I'm not looking forward to spending all this money on a computer again. Maybe one more round of consoles to polish up a more computer like experience for gaming and we can do away with PC gaming. I heard ps3 is going to have keyboard and mouse, though i will believe that when I see it. Not that I want to get rid of PC gaming by any means because right now I am a PC fanboi, but it would be very nice to have a pc experience on a console and only have to pay 500 dollars every few years to game rather than $2,500 dollars every few years to game on a PC.
