    Im guessing all you uber pro people already know about this video option but i just disabled it today and now it feels like i have ut2k4 shockrifle again. :lol: Helps with sniping too.

    I do feel the game runs a little slower in some parts because I checked it though..

    Does everyone else notice a big difference as well?

    It's basically a requirement if you want any type of aim in UT3.

    Regarding advanced video options. What does combine dynamic lights do? Is it good for graphics and harder on performance or just the opposite?

    It trades off dynamic light quality a bit in exchange for speed by combining multiple dynamic light sources into one source. Enabling it takes a quality hit but is quicker to calculate, and likewise leaving it off is better visual quality at the cost of a potential frame hit.

    You will not aim without it.

    Patch 2.0 changed my option on this for some unknown reason, and until I noticed I couldn't hit anything. It was a few sad days, at which point I nearly gave up the game because I thought the new patch was that bad.

    IMO Epic is rather retarded to even make this an option. I can only imagine how many people gave up the game because of this alone...

    I believe that is the potential downside of disabling it. Movement seems slightly less "smooth."

    Lol, I was wondering why my aim became worse, too.
    It was rather mean from Epic's side to enable it in patch by default

    Stupid question, but this doesn't fix the primary aim on the link gun or rocket launcher, does it?
    If I remember correctly, for some reason both weapons fire slightly to the right of the crosshair by default.
    Is this behavior fixed by enabling this option, or do I still have to take the slight inaccuracy into account when firing the primaries on these weapons?
