file went into system directory... i dunno 'bout 2k4... search button at top o' page is your friend

demos dont work for vehicals .... I rememebr when i used to play ut2k4 id try to record my happenings in a tank or raptor and it would never work right..
Vehicle's dont record with the demorec command because that doesnt record what karma does, it seems to only record where objects are adn when poeple die and stuff. And vehicles are karma, so it doesnt record them.
You'll see you player in the driving position, speeding around the track on his backside though .
