Dedicated Server Error! Help!

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

First off I am a noob to the forum and in any kind of dedicated server know-how. I downloaded the dedicated server version 3339 and I am running on Mac OS 10.4.11. Now heres my problem. When I go to edit ANYTHING in the Web>ServerAdmin folder, I click on lets say "CurrentMutators". As soon as I try to save or edit a parameter, it brings me to an error page that just says it can't locate the file "PostAction" Heres a screenshot to make clearer. http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z84/Bequinta/NAT Prob/servererror.png

Again, I am A NOOB with this kind of stuff. And this problem also happens on my WinXP computer too. Also, if I do fix this problem, how do I start up a server once I configure everything. I can't find a guide anywhere. Also I should mention, all the images are broken and everything is loaded with % signs! This must be related right? I have all the images in the folder, so I don't know why this isn't making a complete html setup. It's as if it wan't assembled right...

Thanks,

It looks like you're trying to access the Webadmin using the "web" folder, which just contains the template files for the webadmin. To access the webadmin you have to access it using the port you've configured. So for example if your Webadmin is configured to listen on port 8888 then you can access the webadmin on your local machine using:

http://localhost:8888/ServerAdmin/

Obviously you need to configure the password too but that's all in the ini file as well. Read this page: http://wiki.unrealadmin.org/Server_Setup_(UT2004) as it explains everything you need to know including how to set up the webadmin part. That's a good site in general so check out the additional info on configuring servers that's in the Wiki.
