Deco Layers on Static Mesh

    How hard would it be to have "deco layers" work on static meshes?

    The idea is to have a lot of small static meshes over one large static mesh, but for them to behave like a deco layer and fade out at a certain distance (before the fog).

    Any ideas on how to code this?
