To Start all of the deck16][ remakes or conversions so far have ben done quick and slopy. And the mods have sucked with the exeption of 2.

The Hallways were completely rebuilt from scratch with new in set lights the old hallways were then deleted. The passage cotioening the large stack of crates was also deleted and then rebuild from scratch.

Sorry About that coment that one came from Mapper x. The computer did not log me out and loged him as me. Corrections have ben made. I also have had problems with pranks at this end. The coment will be removed...

No but we share the same PC But as far as the updates i mentioned on the origional page where the coment was made. An addeitional Pc was just purchased for me only and he cannot get into my accounts. The old one had a problem of not loging people off correctly.

Look, how can I put this. Most people here despise the original Deck 16, not just because of the way it looked but because of the godawful overscaled layout.

This means that any deck 16 remake is basically going to be viewed as a turd polishing attempt.

I don't mean to be offensive, but do yourself a favour and either a) find a forum where people are more receptive to the idea of Deck 16 maps, or b) Make yourself a nice shiny new map from scratch.

As general guide, means "I'm squinting incredulously"

This is "a nice shiny new map from scratch." shore it is a remake of the deusex nyc map but the fact is this It was build from scratch. Does this make you happy. If not check out "dm-Castle-arena" this is no remake this is what you are looking for.

Until then all I can say is that you and this "Mapper X" are acting like you are good, repected mappers, whilst in fact, from what I have seen, you are only beginners.
Take some critisism, take our advice.
You never know, we might be right.

Ugly?? The first 2 deck16 maps displayed are not ugly. I also found them on the UT servers Those 2 are something i expected to see in UT 2003...
