I, the one who is the wrath,
many a tale, one like myself hath.
As myself, though the ripples of time,am caught,
the very fluid in which, one as myself has been wrought.
Through times of peril, and those of bliss,
none but niegh have caught me, as always say this:
"One may not seduce me into the thick constricted pod,
For what am I but a servant and The Wrath of God."

Through the Sniper's Eyes

My eyes flutter open,
the stench around me, I inhale.
turn my body toward the subject,
my aim shall not fail.
I breath out,
finger on the trigger.
my existance, It is unknown,
not myself, nor him, neither.
In, I breath again,
life creeps inside.
But death swoons about,
In myself, these visions reside.
I breath out,
Down, the trigger, my finger pulls.
An instant, a reaction,
light shoots from the holes.
Down he falls,
into a forever void
"Damn, two inches from the center of his head!"
I got up, and ran back, feeling a little annoyed.

here's one :

They that have the power to hurt, and will do none,
That do not do the thing, they mostly show
Who moving others, are themselves as stone,
Unmoved, cold, and to temptation slow;
They rightly do inherit heaven's graces,
And husband riches from expense,
They are lords and owners of their faces,
Others but stewards of there excellence:
The summer's flower is to the summer sweet,
Thought to itself, it only lives and die,
But if that flower were based with infectious meet,
The basest weed, out-braves his dignity;
For sweetest things turns sourest by their deeds,
Lilies that fester, smell far worse than weeds

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and
degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings, which thinks that nothing
is worth war, is much worse.

One ManÂ’s Story

As we trampled off the deck of the old boat,
We saw our friends, our men, and our sons barely afloat
We pulled, along with the almost lifeless, ourselves together
And then started up the warm sandy beach on our journey that could last forever

Neither weather, time nor God himself could account for this
They all had been watching his horrid bliss
Not able to stop it, not able to seize control
We all dug in and hoped for the metallic roll

And then from were life began, we regained our hope
We reached for our sticks of fury and began to climb the treacherous slope
With the roars of our saviors behind us, we climbed the ladder to heaven, only meaning to go halfway.
As we reached the top, we grabbed what was dearest to us, and planted it in all the way.

As I look back, I wonder, what would have taken place
Would I fall, would I fight, or would I meet Him face to face
I lost many things in the that awful situation,
But I also gained freedom for the people of my nation.

Great i will stop by periodically to drop off some war/love/personal(well maybe not much love poems) here.........at least i know some ppl appreciate the finer arts
