Damage of Assault Rifle Nade

Does anyone know exactly (or roughly) how much damage a direct hit off an AR Nade causes? LA says 70... I'm not convinced.

Also, how about the nade's explosion, how much damage does that create?
I'm guessing that it depends on the closeness to the AR Nade's explosion, but roughly what is the damage that the explosion causes?

The UC files say it's 70damage, not sure if the explosive effect increases it or not

Yeah it's supposed to be 70 for a direct hit but I've seen them do 63 and 69 from a direct hit also. As for the explosion I don't know what it's damage would be.

Splash damage weapons never seem to do full damage. I'm guessing because to collision radius of the projectile prevents the player from being in the very centre of the blast (the projectile explodes before that happens), they never take full damage from it.

Also something else I can't explain. If the projectile hits you from underneath (or something), that reduces damage by quite a bit. I don't know how to do this, but something I notice sometimes.

Weird. I thought it was 50.

You need two hits to kill if they're at 100 either way.

It's the same issue as the rockets and shock combo, the center of the explosion can't hit the center of the collision cylinder, so the full damage as coded is never done.

Grab a buddy, join an empty server with comp or tam, for damage tracking, have him hold still, stack him, smack him in the face with repeated grens, count hits, divide by damage, etc. I think the number I settled on was 65.

THe Elite machines mutator does a pretty good job of showing damage.
