DA2 Status Update
Well, DA2 is still trucking along. I (Spec) have decided to try and at least post a weekly update for you all so you can keep up on the latest stuff we've been working on.
[D]'s been hard at work porting over DA-Ruins and it's looking really good. An early screenshot can be seen in this post.
I've been hard at work on DA2-Crash. There are some early shots for you to check out in this post. It's been updated since those shots, so I'll have to post some new ones after I post this.
Fluxs has been working on the new intro map for the menu, which is one of the best I've seen. He threw together a video of which I'm sure most of you have already checked out, but never the less, it can be seen here.
Abs has been really hitting the code lately, squashing bugs and adding new features. He's been getting the hang of replication client side and a lot of the online bugs we've found regarding that have been fixed. Hurray! He's also coded in a new automated turret. Has cool sounds now and everything
although needs to be tweaked as it's currently a bit too powerful
He's also going to work on some actors that will make mapping a lot easier and help with the bot AI. He's also been working on giving the medics the ability to heal and will start working on buildables for the mechanics.
As you can see we've all been quite busy and things are going really well. At some point I feel we're going to need help testing before we release the beta (lol, testing for a beta test....classic hilarity) so I'll let you know when we're ready for that.
