Customs in single-player

What do I need to change in my upl's to:

1) Be able to play as my boogityboy skin in the single player tournament.
2) Be able to have my clanmates skins come up in the rosters as choosable teammates?

I'm assuming I'd need a second set of upl's for each skin correct that I could switch out when playing on/offline?

What's the dealy-yo?

the only races avalible from what i heard are humanoid, such as: mercs, egyptians, and nightmare. it doest matter what race your character is, so changing the .upls to either of those races should enable you to choose any character for teammates. also, adding 'menu="sp"' in the .upl will enable your character to be playible in single player

Okay i added the Menu="SP" and they all show up fine in the player select menu.
I haven't gotten as far as team selection yet though due to one small problem..

Even though I'm showing up in the player select menu I'm showing as Jacob in the actual game...

Here's the .upl for my skin with the changes made for single player. Menu="SP" added and Species changed from Jugg to Mercs. (You said this wouldn't make a difference)

there was one little detail i forgot to mention ^_^;...now that i think about it, you can choose juggernauts for your team, and you dont have to change the species of the character youre gonna use yourself...just to the teammates you wish to hire. but anyways, the one problem is that you added 's' to 'mercs', just change it to 'merc' and it should work fine...the only reason UT shows you as Jakob is because it cant find the species 'mercs' so it defaults to Jakob. all in all everything else is fine

Ok changed em to Jugg and I show fine..

Now when exactly will my clanmates become available? They weren't there in the first round team select. Will they become available later as the single player tourney goes on or what...

You need to re-create the profile. It saves who is available when it creates the profile.

This also sounds like the trick I did a couple of months back, changing the Gen Mo'Kai to Merc, adding them to my team, then switching them back to Alien (you have to switch them back or they will be playing humanoid sounds, and it doesn't sound pretty!).

I tried leaving the species as Jugg
I showed fine... my clanmates never showed up in the first round pick.

I tried making the species Merc (without the S time) and I showed once more as Jacob.

Ahhh screw it....
