“If I say that my somewhat extravagant imagination yielded simultaneous pictures of an octopus, a dragon, and a human caricature, I shall not be unfaithful to the spirit of the thing. A pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque and scaly body with rudimentary wings... It represented a monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind. This thing, which seemed instinct with a fearsome and unnatural malignancy, was of a somewhat bloated corpulence...” (“The Call of Cthulhu”)

@Turret_49 a paper bag can fix that ;)

If anyone can make this it would be Hide, he's great at mixing humans and animals. Like Skylla and Calamity.
Oh well let's just hope and see.

If you would like to read the Call of Cthulhu it can be found here
http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Call_of_Cthulhu

he should have his own Species
I,ve only read lovecrafts work so far, so i dont know about the other mythos.
from what i understand, is that he cant fly because of his immense bulk. but i dont know because supposedly he can change his shape and size but has to keep his general shape with the wings and octopussy head.
he can regenerate, his head was run through by a ship and he reformed.
he should have a cool death animation because he kind of popped when the ship ran into him. I'm thinking of, well if you've played diablo 2 you would know what im talking about, in the third act, theres this frog thing and when you kill it it kind of goes splat. but kind of a greasy pop splat sort of thing

I don't think there are really death animations but I think it can be made so that when the species mutator is on he will gib every time he dies.
