CTF with V2.75

I already know that the last player timer for CTF was last thing you did for V2.75 and taht you have not tested it very long.
The problem is that with this timer everytime the enemy team is killed entirely (??) you get one point. But it does not really count as a flag capture point, so its really useless.
Another thing is, that in maps like DDay, Them and TwinValley (my favourite) its neary impossible (for me) to capture the flag. Everytime I just ran away with the flag the ten second countdown began. -> I got one point for killing the other team, but could not carry the flag back home.
The timer works quite okay on CTF-Fin, but I would gladly appriciate if in future versions the timer is just an option.
Everyone please give me your opinion and thoughts about this. Thanks in advance.

I think the timer is a good thing, particularly on big maps like CTF-Templar, where running back from the Blue base with the flag and no opposition gets dull after a while. It just needs to link into the normal CTF flag capture code better so that the game ends when you have the correct number of flag captures, and to return the flag to the Blue base if you got it part-way to yours.

I think your missing out on a bigger bug. At least on my machine, if you wipe out the enemy team and one of your bots has the flag, they still retain the flag into the next round, where they will certainly capture it. Now this is such a huge bug in offline play I'm surprosed it wasnt noticed

I noticed that bug as well but had this posted before.
I am surprised that the inf-team did not test the ctf play good enough, because ctf is in second place in the polls.
But they still have time to fix it for 2.8.
