UT3 CTF - Escalation

    Lets get the normal stuff out of the way.

    Name: Escalation
    Game: Unreal Tournament 3
    Gametype: Capture The Flag
    Players: 5 - 10

    I've created this map in order to be able to play around with Kismet. The Kismet sequences make more weapons and paths aviable as the time passes. When a flag is captured, the paths and weapons are made unaviable. Time passes, and then they become aviable again.

    I hope this will create an interesting environment, which will create more and more opportunities for the player, as the time passes.

    "Will we hold the middle untill the powerups are made aviable? Or should we attack before the other team uses the bellow passages to sneak into our flagroom?"

    The path-finding of the bots have created some problems, some of them are solved, some are not. I know about these. I will keep on working on them after the release.

    I've got some questions to those willing to give feedback:

    Does the female voice work or is it to out of place?
    Does she speak to much or would you like it if she gave out even more information about the different paths?
    Are the paths opened to fast or to slowly?
    To much ammunition, weapons, powerups? Or should there be more?

    And so on.

    All feedback is highly appreciated!

    simple but effective CTF

    This is a relatively simple map with good looks and extra gameplay shutting-doors countdown feature (I guess this is the kismet feature which also adds weapons and stuff as you discuss). The female voice stands out, so you definitely take notice of it and that's good; everything else seems fine with the kismet stuff and should remain as is. The bots could be better, but at least mine can defend our base this time.

    um...

    ...not sure WTF I was talking about when I said the bot pathing could be better. Actually, it was kinda hard to CTF after telling all my bots to defend, so it's probably OK.:)

    Wow, interesting concept! I think you should make it so that right after your own flag is captured, your extra weapon paths open for a few seconds. Still, quite impressive. I like the creative thinking here!

    @SkaarjMaster: Well, I kind of expected someone to comment on the bot-pathing. Since I've had many problems with the bot-pathing during development. :)

    @Sir_Brizz: To award the team which succeeds in capturing the flag. The players would be more motivated to capture the flag.
