CTF-AirRaid

Wow.. I just happened to download the daily map pack from nali city the other day and this map (and AirRaid2) was in it. I didn't get a chance to play any of the maps from the pack really, but this one was the first in my CTF list, and it looked cool by the mini-picture.

Anyhow, I decided I would load it up with no bots so I could play with my key bindings.

Guys, this level looks like a LOT of fun.. something FragPU could use (not fun.. I mean, I think this map would ROCK for FragPU..especially with excessive)

The bases are HUGE and the only way from base to base is by a transport or "dropship" which goes through "stargates". In other words, you will need *teamwork* to get the flag back, as the ships don't stop and wait for you. So you have to time everything just right.

Sorry I don't have any pics for you, as I am at work right now.. but I plan on reviewing this sucker for The Lair sometime this week!

These are multiplayer only maps (no bot support.. bots aren't smart enough to ride the ships)..

Hey,

Check out the maps at http://www.chudzilla.com There are some pretty cools ones and Chud's server is fun.

There is a map titled CTF-Trainyard (I think) that has a similar theme. You have to take trains in and out. And the bots work fine riding the train.

Sounds cool. I wish I had the hard drive space and bandwidth that is needed to pull down those daily map packs. There are plenty of good maps that never get covered. I'll be looking forward to your review.

I dont like 15-20 FPS, and that's what i get on that map. also i think it's a bit messy, too large. and finding a server that plays it is another thing......
