Critical Error: Ran out of Virtual Memory

    I just started getting this error. It happens when I try to join an INF server. I have 6.88 gb free on my hard disk. I went to the system information in system tools.

    Hmmm it doesn't seem like you're short on virtual mem ... check your hardware preferences (I think it's the perfomance tab), and check to see how much virtual memory you have allocated and where it's pointed to.

    I have a virtual memory paging file size of 1.5 gigs.

    Besides, I think it is INF, not my computer. My INF shorcut I use for beta testing still works. It is only the normal shortcut with the default system directory that is giving me the virtual memory error.

    Oh and the error occurs if I try to join an online game or even try to start an offline game.

    Just a guess: move some of the (not so important) int-files into another directory.
    Once I had problems because of the int-files IIRC, when I pressed ESC to reach the INF-Menu my PC crashed (I had to to everything other console --> connecting to servers etc.).
