Hi, I am currently working on a simulation of a small forrest. I was thinking of adding some fog to particular areas, such as around the ponds etc.

Does anyone have some tips for making realistic looking fog? Perhapsa good example map?

I read somewhere that emitters would give the best looking result, but there is perhaps another way to get this to work?

I already have distance fog in the map to add the atmosphere to it. However, what I am looking for is how to put fog in particular places like over water surface of a pond etc.

I copied one of the emitters in the waterfall in EM_Runtime, created a darker texture and slowed down the movement of it and now I have some very local fog.

The Advanced Lighting Example Maps doc has now been made public, which covers all kinds of fancy effects like the cool moving tree shadows in the Runtime example map, neon signs, water caustics, light beams, and, of course, ground fog.

Thanks for the tip Vito :) I looked at the example map and to my great delight I found other things than the fog that probably will be useful. Brilliant
