Hide is the author of this model. You should contact him via PM, maybe he can help you :)

    EDIT:
Sorry, he has disabled the PM-function

Maybe you should redownload the skin and take a look at the readme for further contact information

A readme is a normal textfile, it can be opened with Windows` Notepad.
Simply doubleclick on the file to do that.
It is only an additional file providing some information about the skin and mostly also a possibility (e-mail, homepage) to contact the author.

wait till Kantham sees this thread..... lol

    Skin Installation (zip / rar)
    1. Download

    2. Open archive (.zip or .rar)

    3. a. If the archive file has folders inside of it such as System, and Textures then all you need to do is extract the entire archive into your UT2004 directory. Because the author created the archive with the appropriate folders you don't need to worry about what file goes where.
    b. If the archive file does not contain folders (just a bunch of files) then you will have to put the files into the appropriate folders. (see list below for locations)
    UT2004/System Folder: .u , .ucl , .upl , .int
    UT2004/Textures: .utx
    UT2004/Animations: .ukx
    UT2004/Karma: .kat
    UT2004/Sounds: .uax

Usually a skin will have only 2-3 files (.utx , .upl , and possibly a .int)

A model will have all the files a skin has but will also have an animation file (.ukx)

The rest of the files are less likely to be in anything you download unless the autho has done some more extensive stuff to the character.

As far as getting your skin online all you need to do is select it in the Player menu in the game then join a server. Although like hal said if no one else has your skin installed they will not see it unless the server has it installed.

I'm not sure if this helped at all but from what I could read from your posts it might. If possible try to be more clear when asking questions it makes them easier to answer.

(Hands MaXX some advil) Oi, sgt lazy crash? Why not Download the file as a zip and then as you unzip it? Unzip to a New folder and name it *UT2k4 Samples* and unzip it there ? That way you have a folder to unzip to for when you have a new quest on the road to ut knowledge? Just an opition.

It seems you don´t know the basics , like copying files , using programs like winzip or winrar .
If you know someone a little bit more experienced , ask him if he go thrue this thread with you and you can solve the problem together.:)

It´s for the first Unreal Tournament and comes with the BonusPack 4 .
    You can´t use it in UT2003 or UT2004 .

Actually, there is a conversion of it floating around somewhere... but it messes up the game because it has the same name as the normal Xan.
