Ok, Rukee, and all you other hardware geeks. What's really the difference on these two video cards:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2935588&Sku=B52-7876

Those are the two I've been looking at. I would like something with more ram than the popular 8800 with 256mb, and 512mb is only one step up, so I've been eyeing these. Is it really worth it? I'm just really not sure. Would like to have a better idea before spending that much money on one.

The OC2 card has better specs, higher clock speeds for memory, core, shader speed, more memory bandwidth, higher fill rate, if I was going to buy a brand new card, that`d be the one. BFG has a life time warranty, great support and exchange programs too.

Looking at that cards detailed specs it`s clocked slower, has less fill rate and alot lower memory bandwidth and it`s more money then the BFG unit, but it`s up to you. :)

Well,I read and heard many people's opinions that XFX has top VGAs and about BFG I never heard many informations,I thought they would produce only PhysX cards, but yes it is up to you. However,Leadtek,ASUS,MSI and Gainward are awesome, too.:)

I`ve been through dozens and dozens of cards(maybe hundreds), and killed many overclocking/moding them, freezing them etc.
XFX cards had about the greatest fail rate with the most hassle getting them replaced.
MSI cards have a big fail rate with me too, one card was replaced several times and replacments were DOA. OC`ability is crap.
GAINWARD has awesome OC`d cards from the factory, great support, but no room for overclocking by the end user. On their own their OC`d cards kick ***.
BFG OC cards too are factory OC`d, they have great support and they OC well from stock. My favorite brand.

Leadtek and asus cards I have not had the opportunity to kill too many yet. :B

Prices always go down on old tech as new products come out. You`re always going to pay more for the latest and greatest and get a good deal on year old or more tech. I can`t believe how much prices have dropped in the last 4 yrs. When AMD dual cores first came out I paid over 12 hundred for one and it wasn`t even the fastest CPU made at the time, now you can build a complete NEARLY top of the line rig for half of what I paid just for the CPU! It`s a great thing for the consumer, the longer you wait, the better the products and the lower the price.
