Question 1: Gonna have to learn the 2d shape editor. A lot of the really cool arches and cathedrals are done using this. Since I don't have WoT (waiting for X-mas /~unreal/ubb/html/smile.gif, I'll have to wait till then to see exactly how they did it.

Question 2: My 2 favorite modeling sites.

http://www.nervedamage.com

There's also one more setup by Shane Caudle by I forgot the address. I think Darkleige might have it.

Complex brushes:
I'm designing a huge cathedral at the moment. The most things a have finished yet. But there is one thing I don't know how to handle: A big round hall with a dome (8-sided) and on each side should be an entry. All what I tryed looked very ugly.(In Wheel of Time they have a lot of these domes --> tutorial level). How can I solve this problem ...

skinning:
I created a new mesh for the player. So far so good. But how can I create the texture for it. I know how to import how to draw it on the mesh. What I don't know how can I paint bitmap so that it fits the mesh correctly.

(sorry for bad spelling)

Thanks forthe links !
It is really hard to find tutorial sites where the links aren't broken. :)

WoT is one of the greates games I ever played. The levels are so detailed. In one ofthe later levels you have whole complete castle including a complete cathedral and a sewerage !
