Well well well, another update.
We have had a small slow down as said in a previous forum post but we are still up and running.
Days pass by and my coding skills are getting better and better (especially about replication).
Anyway I will try to form a list:
Current Additions
- New feature: Karma droppable weapons, when a player dies his weapon drops realistically on the ground (High Detail only so dont worry about performance). Adds a lot to atmosphere when you kill an enemy.
- Meet crusher, our 2nd turret.

Some scaling and modifications have occured. Crusher obviously has 2 barrels very low ROF but high damage with mini explosive shells that also cause damage if you are close enough. Still in the works regarding code. Looking sharp in game too.
- Shader skins for turrets, looking great in game.
- New map coming up from Nick, DA2-Refinery, you've seen some pictures online.
- New map by FluXs as well.
- Cleaned the code out from some accessed nones, 40 minutes of gameplay and both server and client did not log above 20kb LOG. That is pretty good compared to some old DA:UT logs...
- New zoom effect for all scoped weapons
- New AMI sounds
- New Taunt sounds (from good ol' JUIM that did the ones for DA:UT). Amazing and funny stuff. The sounds are not complete yet need more.
- New ricochet sounds
- Ending matinee scenes for each team per map will be shown once a game ends. Expect some nice stuff.
Coming up
- New scoreboard
- Add AMI icon to indicate her talking
- Show kills on hud (aBs killed Nick with XD40 melee... )
- New idea proposed (not yet started) : NPC characters that can be rescued as 2ndary objective in game. Once rescued they will have one life and they will get a random weapon.
Doing well lets see if we can make it before summer.
