will INF change the way u communicate to the bots or will they remain the way they r in UT?
as this is a military conversion mod, a bot screaming "yeah bitch" after he guns down someone wouldnt be very realistic would it?
maybe something like "tango down" would be better, like in RS.
and there should be more options on telling a particular bot what to do like sniping, covering or scouting ahead

Agreed. Maybe not a phonetic alphabet (the phonetic alphabet is usually reserved for troops, ie: Alpha Troop, Bravo Troop, Charlie Troop, FALL IN! [at least in Canada, that's how the DND does it]) but at least refering to them by name - what would be cool is depending on the bots difficulty settings, they could be assigned different ranks - like Private, Corporal, Master Corporal, Sargeant (you can tell I'm Canadian on this one, we have way less noncoms than the U.S. - oh, and we pronounce LEF-tenant properly =P) so you could bark "Private Alarik, watch my six!".

That's an all around good and cool and sexy and loveable idea =P.

Me Agree too!

Once I've made a squad of Elite Bots on my team with their own characteristics e.g. Demolitions/Sniper/etc. while a whord of Necris Phayders and Blademaidens on the other. I just wished that I can set the Sniper's favourite weapon to a robar, but I had to get rid of the robar to a UT sniper rifle to get my sniper to use it! /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

And also the sniper didnt act like a sniper, there's no snipe command. There should also be a "GET DOWN!" command. The new INF player model should go to prone when you use the crouch key to make it more army-type!

hmm..you didn't read my bot-post from last month, did you?
You can change the bots favourite weapons to INF weapons!
You just have to edit your User.INI file.
There are some lines about bots - number 0-31, where you can change anything from skin to weapon.
You just have to get the right name for the UT weapons.

About the sniper behavior - maybe he/she starts sniping if you let him defend a position with good view..
At least the bots I have at CTF-Lavagiant are quite good snipers with the Robar..
..though not nearly as goos as me /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I dont think thats an issue.just play:
"rank, do this"
but in the chat box just insert the name in front. like so:
rank name here do this
Even better when a command is sent to a player, the text should pop on to the heads up display.
