I had told Taz about my problems with comcast and as all of you know I have been sufferring with a bad case of packetloss-itis. Over the last few weeks. Since about Tuesday my connectivity to the internet is minimal to non existent. I have not been able to get on at all.
I currently have a trouble ticket in with comcast. They did come out once to verify my problem. The techs told me that the low part of the band is at 7 and is to weak for my modem to get a return. They said the line needs to be traced through out my neighborhood to determen where the weakest link is and to replace the faulty piece of equipment. It will take them about 3 days if I am lucky complete the neighborhood trace.
I am still waiting for the problem to be fixed. At this time I am unable to use the internet for any application.
Once it is fixed I will be back online.
I was able to post this message by using my mom's computer. I had to travel 100 miles to use her computer, and I had to use the dreaded AOL to do it.
