Colt 9mm (somewhat like a new weapon suggestion, but not quite)

Since you have optional attachments on the weapons, could you have optional weapon conversions too? I'd love to use the 9mm conversion of M4 (which is somewhat popular amongst law enforcement people if I remember correctly)...I'm not sure if the other rifles have 9mm (or similiar SMG cartridge) conversions, but I'd love to see the Colt M4 9mm in INF in addition to the regular Colt M4.

It has several advantages when compared to the 5.56 mm M4:
-Isn't as loud
-Is easier to silence
-the 9mm round doesn't overpenetrate in HRT situations
-Not as heavy (tho not that much lighter either)

And since you already are planning to include the regular M4, you wouldn't need a completely new model, just change the clip on the M4 model.

Sorry, but if we were to do an actual 9mm conversion we'd need to model a whole new upper. The case deflector and ejection port door is different on the 9mm model, and most use A1 sights. The barrel is also much shorter, and the upper lacks a forward assist. Compare:

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have the Colt 9mm SMG in there too. But the texturers and artists may not have time or be up to the task.

And to clear up a common misconception, at short range a 9mm will actually penetrate much further than a .223. Reason being, a .223 is not fully stabilized until it is about 250 yards out, thus at short range it will tumble and break up and not overpenetrate. The 9mm is stabilized out of a short barrel very quickly and thus doesn't tumble or break up at short range. This is why many tactical teams are now trading in their MP5's for M4 carbines.

YOU DISSIN MY MP5 BRO?!

The MP5 still gives the best overall performance/handling in CQB with good JHPs.

To clear up a common misconseption, for this reason, tactical teams are SUPPLEMENTING thier MP5s with M4s not replacing them.

Well the R635 has a longer barrel, so I'm guessing it has a higher muzzle velocity... which means more penetration and more range.

And that R633 has got to be the ugliest thing on this planet that has word Colt on it.
