Aside from 1v1, UT2004 has been totally overlooked for EuroCups this season by ClanBase, also, 1v1 gets the lowest prize money of any of the EuroCups ($550).

TAM/TDM/iCTF are all close to or high than 100 signups and get nothing. However, Quake4 TDM, with less signups than TAM or TDM, not only get's a EuroCup, but $9,000 prize money.

The number of teams (aside from the 1v1 cups, which are numbers of players).

Let's do a little number crunching here. The major cups for the games are:

Quake4 TDM gets $9,000 (89 teams - 363 players @ 4v4)
Quake4 1v1 gets $1,000 (287 players)

UT2004 1v1 gets $550 (363 players)
UT2004 TAM gets nothing (118 teams - 472 players @ 4v4)
UT2004 TDM gets nothing (96 teams - 384 players @ 4v4)
UT2004 iCTF gets nothing (82 teams - 410 players @ 5v5)

Quake4 has a total of 650 players. Quake4 has a total prize fund of $10,000. $15.4 per player.

UT2004 has a total of 1,629 players. UT2004 has a total prize fund of $550. $0.34 per player.

I'd love to know the justification for giving Quake4 46 times more prize money than UT2004.

lets remember that most European nations don't speak english as a first language. Enough justification right there. I often make accent mistakes when writing french, and I don't see people pointing fingers.

CAL own CB? No chance. CB has apretty good crack at being the world's biggest online gaming league (certainly in terms of FPS games).

In terms of UT2004 and UT99, it's unquestionably the biggest in Europe.
