Chase Camera

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

:lol: Hi folks.

Sorry if this has been covered before (i'm new here :) )
I've done a search of the forums but can't seem to get the info i need.

Is there any way to get a "Chase Camera" option ?

I've tried playing with the camera settings in game but the "change Camera" option doesn't seem to work.

Reason i ask is i'm having a hard time trying to control the car and steer the camera with the mouse at the same time. Mouse steering doesn't help.

Been through all the settings and stuff, maybe i'm just dumb :p :eek:

You are using beta 3 right? And you haven't accidentally downloaded a test version (that doesn't include the change camera function, the new beta will).

Hmm... that's odd. All i can say is wait until the next beta is released (you won't have too long to wait ;) )

Thx for the quick reply :)

The file i downloaded was unwheel_b3.exe.

I tried mapping the camera controls to different keys to no avail.

BTW I patched UT2k4 to the latest revision 3270.

Weird, I'm sure change camera was included in beta 3. Well, when beta 4 is released, hopefully it will work for you.
