  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I am not sure what this fix means, but I am sure it was needed. :D

"Deployable turret enemy detection" <--I thought the turrets already detected the enemy.

Thanks to FMI, whatever that fix was. Keep up the great work!

They don't detect enemy turrets (in other words, they don't shoot at each other). I assume that's what the fix is for.

Thanks JaGo. I'm not sure I ever tried to use a turret to take out a turret before, so I never noticed that shortcoming. :doh:

It's a pretty good tactic to use to "distract" enemy turrets. They can't fire at YOU if they're killing each other, now can they ;)


Edit: And to further expand, Rocket turret > auto-turret. Drop a rocket turret down in front of two machine turrets and then walk off. It will destroy them both.

only a former u2 player would notice that nothing happened... and it was a "minor" bug...

gee they are fixing MINOR bugs.... so.....

Hopefully this means the turret is pointing the same direction it was before you enter the vehicle, and not in the direction you were facing when entering the vehicle. That's annoying (and so is my phrasing in this post, tbh).

is the concussionjumping fixed now? :S
2 bad you would never be able to jump around in UTXMP as in alcazar in U2XMP...
( there is a maximum speed at U2XMP, and in XMP-alcazar it is WAY higher)

you know there is a mutator for conc jumping... its on BBF and MF:D
