I'm ready to get a cd burner, but I was wondering what I should look for in selecting one. Is any type better than another? Like for backing up games, are there any burners that can burn a backup copy for me without needed to use a cd crack code later on? Any ideas from my fellow gamers would be much appreciated.

get an 8x. get a SCSI. That's about all you need to look for.
No burner can "uncrack" these games. It's all got to do with the software. It can't copy the encrypted data properly.
