Greetings to members of the UT2004 modding community!
We are Running With Scissors, makers for the POSTAL games. POSTAL 2 uses the Unreal engine 2 and also makes use of Steam Workshop. We have been updating both the game and the editor tools for quite some time now, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
The reason we are here telling you all this is because we are currently looking for remotely based interns to join our expanding team, and part of that will be finding people that can help us further improve P2 for our community, either via official updates or workshop content. P2 uses the same editor as UT2004 but it's vastly updated to make it easier to use, with improvements such as -

So if you have a lot of experience with the Unreal 2 engine, please give this a read and then drop us a line!

- Asset search, you can now search all packages at once as well as filter things easier within browser windows. We also vastly improved the Actor search
- WADS navigation when holding Right click (much like UDK / UE4)
- You can now fully manipulate actors in the 3D viewport (scale, rotate ect)
- Better organization of the ActionScript menu
- Actor icons have improved art, and every actor has an unique icon making maps much easier to read. Also Volumes are now better color coded
- Prefab browser is now fully functional with brushes / volumes and actors are textured by default
- Pretty much every vital tool or function now has a hotkey
- It is now possible to have more than one property window open, and we tidied them all up so only relevant tabs are shown per actor.
- Easier actor visibility management
- Various crash fixes, the goblin has been tamed
- Much, much more, and we are still improving it, so your feedback is welcome.
