Cache size/managment

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Can anyone tell me how to increase the cache size in UT 2004? I get tired of having to download the same maps over and over and I think its because the cache fills up and starts to dump as needed. If this is not the case then how can I avoid this download problem?

By default UT (and I guess UT2004 too) deletes cache contents after 30 days. You can avoid it by changing the following in UT2004.ini - PurgeCacheDays=0
