Have you pre-ordered it yet?

(As of July, 2005)

And if so, how much?

I'll just buy at the store.... (no one in my area knows anything about UT... so i dont have to worry about it being sold out)

Yes I plan to pre-order it but not yet. I was two weeks late getting 2k4 because no one had it (some big delay with orders at the time). Needless to say the stores copped some :flak: from me as I'd to travel 30km each time I went to buy it :)

There was some intense issues with Atari not getting it out fast enough. Note how Epic canned Atari right after UT2004 was over and done with.

I've had it on preorder for almost 2 months. If there's a limited edition, I'll drop the pre-order and get the LE (which had better be in a metal box this time).

There's going to have to be a limited edition (or at least a DVD edition). I imagine that because of the size of the engine, this game is going to be close to a full DVD for install, maybe even 2 dvd's. If that does happen, I don't wanna need to get a CD version (7+ cds??? UGH!).

[EDIT] sorry for doublepost

DVDA > DVD > CD

I think it'll be a fair bet that UT2007 won't have a CD edition, on the basis that if a PC doesn't have a DVD drive, it probably won't run the game anyway. DVD-ROMs cost almost nothing anyway, so there's simply no excuse for anyone asking for a CD edition.
