Bullets through walls ?

    This should prob be in the dev forum....move it if u must admin :)

    What is the thickness of walls that u can shoot through as I seem to
    remember that this feature is in INF ?

    In fact I plan to put explodable walls around the edge of tactical position
    windows, etc, just to make things more interesting.

    (When I eventually get to this map I've been trying to do since 2001...a
    few things got in the way...encouragement needed...moral officer?)

    Penetration depth depends on the wall material (yes... using footsteps sounds iirc) and type of bullet.

    RT gets it better, but the project is on hold. I can't do everything at the same time after all :p

    I know you are a coder god and all that, but I am pretty sure wall material has nothing to do with bullet penetration online.

    Some sample penetration values in Unreal Units (UU):
    M9: 6 (lowest of all INF weapons)
    M16: 20
    RC50: 39 (highest)

    no you are right, it does no effect online, offline only. And trust me, I know that all too well. grrr.
