Browsers problem

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I'm so damn tired of those registrations/activations etc for forums where the only thing I need is to ask 1 or 2 dumb questions... Ok, here's the question:
After I installed UE2R last night, I tried it and found it great, BUT. When I started the editor, it loaded and the first thing I've tried was to open Actors Browser. I clicked the icon and... nothing happend! Than I tried to open it from the dropdown menu, but... nothing again!!! I remember I've met the same problem when I tried open any of those browsers in Devastation and Postal2 editors. Here's just the same thing: none of them opens. AT ALL.

My version of Runtime is: v2226 b1903 I run it under Windows XP w/o any SP's.
CPU: AMD Athlon XP Barton 2500+
MB: Epox w/nForce 2 Ultra 400
RAM: Kingston 2x256Mb
Video: GF4MX440 64MbDDR

Desktop is set 32b. resolution - 800x600 (I've very old VDU, but I don't think that's the problem, 'cause the problem with DevEd & PostalEd persists even on 1024x768). Oh, o yeah, I use Forceware 52.16/2.64 for video/MBoard may be this stuff will help. And the last - I looke through the Ed's log and found no errs. What the damned luck?

Yes, AA could make your clicking not register. Or, if it is registering, they could be opening off-screen, since your resolution is waaaay too small. You're probably getting a lot of editing tools cut off. Search the wiki or other forums for how to manually move the browser window locations; I don't recall how to do it off the top of my head.

No it's disabled. Nothing changed.

2Vito.
Maybe you're right (about small resolution). I'm sitting in front of an ancient SyncMaster3 that should support 1024x768 but can hold only 800x600@60 max
