Hey, at the moment I am making a map using the Tarquin's builder brush kit. I use the "Torus" brush (Just like a doughnut in shape) and I've subtracted a space with this brush.

Now, the problem is, that there appears a shadow along with one of the corners (See the first attached picture) and I figured it out that if you right clicked the surface, clicked surface properties and went to the Flags category, there is an option to lighten the corners, called Bright Corners. I tried it out (See attached picture #2) but it didn't light it very well up so not much difference.

You might know why this shadow appears and how you can make sure it doesn't come up or do you know if it's possible to make UnrealEd 2.0 light up the corner with the Bright Corners option so it will become more lighten up?

Any comments appriciated.

-Also enable high shadow detail, or even better super high
-The line is there because there is most likely a bsp cut there as well, find out what brush causes that cut, move the brush, or make it semi solid.
-If that still fails, add a brush on top of the problem, and texture it with the same texture so no one can see its another surface
-If that still doesn't do it, light the surface with special lit.
