    LOL... I'm KIDDING!!!

    Geeezzzz....

Well, maybe if your Dr.Strangelove's sister.:)

OK, here is the twister, who can tell me what steps I had to take to get that unique texture alignment on that brush. And yeah it's a regular added brush not an imported decoration. But that doesn't mean it's not an "import" in general.

For those who map and like to dabble in other 3D applications, you should understand the difficulty of maintaining any form of texture association / alignment.

This is the actual texture used, so no it's not an arched texture...

Well... Can you figure it out?:D

    you tease!!! :D

hmm, nice work there... would the alignment and whatnot have anything to do with texture skewing, a la texalign2 or manually? i can't tell from the shot whether or not the textures actually "squish" towards the inner part of the arch...
come to think of it, is that what you're even asking? :p

and if i'm right do i still get a date with you? :D

The only thing I can think of is either Align to wall pan.. Or you adjusted the U and V of the texture manualy which has given it a warped look?

If im right Ima take you to the Most expensive restaraunt I know of :) Only the best for you my dear LMAO :p

    hehe... you two pervys! :-D

And yeah the texture does "squish" towards the inside of the arch...

But sorry, neither of you are correct. :)

Cmon peoples...! It's time to think think think!! Some of you others give it a try! I bet Angelheart would know the answer.

hang a sec... did you do the texture alignment in max and then imported into ued as a brush? coz AFAIK the texture info is imported as well... right?
damn, dude, you're such a tease, i bet there's no correct answer and that you just wanted to get ants in our pants... :con:

Map-O-Matic - Yes... MAX was a hint, so was the wireframe shot... all those 3 sided polys are a clue that it was an import and not made in UED.

Khutan - "your words say "no.", but your eyes say "YES!! "... lol, that was funny. You silly Rabbit... dicks are for chicks. LOL

LoTekk - "hang a sec... did you do the texture alignment in max and then imported into ued as a brush? coz AFAIK the texture info is imported as well... right?"

    Yes... and no...
Correct, I made the geometry and did the texture alignment in MAX. In fact, the only way to even get MAX to align a texture that way is to Extrude the shape along a path, in that case though it was along an arc... so that much is right LoTekk. But that's a bit more obvious. The real question is how to get the Geometry AND the texture association into UED with the alignment. A real question indeed... since DXF does NOT support Textures nor does it support the texture alignment properties. So I still ask, how did I get it into UED with everything? And of course there is a "real answer" or how else would I have done it? heheh :p

And no Keek, I would NEVER want to do that by hand in UED... ACK! :D

Oh, I love that stuff Old Geezer... but nope, that's not it either.:D

Keep them coming!! I want more ideas!!!

    am i close?

i was gonna say that you merged some of your polys together, but that would make the whole side align one way (you have your textures arched)...

could you have made this shape in the 2d editor also (extruding around pivot)?

well, since the dxf format does not support textures (only geometry) and you asked us how you got it into ued with EVERYTHING (assuming textures aligned already), it must be another format you used.

if you did use the dxf format, then you must've did your texture alignment in ued...

am i getting closer to your warm spot?
