OK I will post this here.
I found a way. Instead of using a factory or a pawn. use an SVehicleFactory actor (what ever it is called). I had placed one (to use the Ion Tank) and I watched a bot run and jump into it and start moving forward in it. Well I clsoed out, loads UED, put in some road path nodes, restarted UT2k4, ran a test. The bot jumped into the tank and began driving, FOLLOWING the road path nodes. Im not sure if it will work for others but It works for me (WOOHOOOOO). So just a tip I guess.
