Bomber Mod

Hello all,
Has anyone considered a mod to the bomber the target painter calls in, to make it flyable? I have a mod that allowed me to fly it, and it had no turning control, and flew like the Manta. I'd like to see some good Fighter Vs Bomber combat. Now, seeing as I am completely talentless when it comes to modding or mapping, I'm going to ask all of you very talented people to help me.

Well, looking back in WWII, bombs generally sucked against any fighters as their main reason is well ... bombing the ground. I suppose you could tag Raptors to the Phoenix but since most maps for Onslaught ever have just a couple of Raptors ... I don't see it happening. I believe the Phoenix was removed as a drivable vehicle for a balancing issue.

True, point taken on the number of raptors on a map. The bombs would be used against nodes and power cores(and tanks?). I'd just like to see it done, possibly as a replacment for raptors?

Hey, in the editors choice pack, didn't they have a two seater bomber/thing with a pilot and gunner? Just saying that it DOES replace raptors etc...

Err, well the cicada is actually a helecopter gunship with a non-standard prop layout. It's not really a bomber.

Someone already did this. Search the forums for something called the Eagle Bomber. Also, I forget which mod but one of them released it as a flyable vehicle too.

So, is this like a thing which you can use like the Pheonix bomber, but you can control it?
