Black and White Gun X

The primary fire shoots highly luminecent masses of particles, or lights. Whenever an organic or synthetic being collides with it, it sustains minimal damage, but gets carried very far by the momentum it has. It also bounces off highly massive/dense things like walls and railings. The alt fire shoots a big slow mass of dark matter, or dark. Any projectile that hits it virtualy vanishes. Anyone that hits it virtualy becomes a pile of gibs.

Now the good part:

The light and dark are attracted to each other (attraction of opposites), the light much more then the dark, who is much more massive. Now when light collides with dark, grey matter forms. Its very unstable, yet has some sort of connection with the psychee of the one who shot the light, making it seek any enemy within its range. When it hits something, it explodes quite well, with good damage and good momentum. Send a few of those raining on your prey and watch them atack him even when he's dead.

On the side note, all U4E fans must absolutely go to the Unreal4Ever website for the latest in UT2K3 developement: the bubble gun (playable beta test). Trust me, it rocks.

Try.d to use your Black and White Gun and couldent find it?Shows up on the mutator list,selected it and no where to be found.Even try'd the command "loaded" to see if it would show up no go. was up wit dat?!? :D

The dark matter didn't explode or disapear or anything when it hit a wall, and the light matter seemed to get stuck on walls sometimes, too.
I think it'd be cool if you used a sprite for the dark matter as well as the light, so it wouldn't have such sharp edges. Unless, of course, you were purposefully making it like that to make it look more dense than the light matter or something.

Its purpous is mainly a defensive weapon for team games. It slows down enemy progression. Plus one person can only use the dark matter on the floor, while others crouch and fire at the dark matter to make grey matter. But used correctly you can pick off enemies around a corner.

edit: ANY ANY suggestion would be welcome. I just wanna be sure if there are still some things left to do to make it more maneuvrable or something like that. I've been in a stall because of it.

Here is a preview. 1st is the primary fire (projectiles are fast and circled in red). Next is alt fire, the improved dark matter projectile. And the effects of both combined (with god mode and fly mode enabled :D ). Next up, preparing the beta itself and uploading.

yeah well I should ask for someone to do models if I ever want to do 'em :p

As for tweeking, I dunno what to do unless people tell me :D

Oh and its a system hog whenever a level is full of bots (well the one I tried at least) so don't put 11 bots with this weapon on unless you got very good CPU bandwith.
