Well, the dinner thing is iffy. An old friend came in from out of town. We got together with another old friend we went to high school with. The 3 of us hadn’t been together as a group in over 30 years. We drove around to our old haunts, reminisced, and went out to eat. It was 2 or 3 days before my birthday and I mentioned my birthday in a few days. They said congrats and that the dinner was my birthday present.

So it wasn’t like I went out on my birthday and someone purposely bought dinner for me. That’s why it didn’t come to mind right away. That and I’m drunk.
