banned

I could have posted this a while ago, but I refreshed my memory just now. My friend called himself MADBOMBER on servers and even in the forums. Shorty after NY events, he got banned. I'm guessing it had to do with his name. The name MADBOMBER came from the madbomber gear. He even wears the hat a lot, and it's goofy as hell. He looked something like this:

That pics always makes me laugh my ass off. Well taken the wrong way, madbomber could be bad, but it's not. I think it was total BS he got banned. Censorship is total BS. Me thinks some people need to lighten up.

if it was only because of his name, then that's crap. If it's because he supported various parties, that's crap. If it's because he started insulting/flaming/spamming other members, then only in that circumstance would I not support an unban.

Well...

I highly doubt he spammed. In fact, he hung out mostly in the developement forum, helping out other mappers. He works for a gaming company, and has a lot of knowledge on the unreal engine's capabilities. I don't think it's a coincidence that the MADBOMBER got banned a few weeks after 9/11. No point in unbanning though. I think the banning was the last excuse he needed to say screw INF and not waste his time here. I just wanted to bitch and complain and point out how stupid censorship can be.

why does everyone hate Prophetus so much he's a pertty decent guy from what I have seen.

They ARE his fourm
the BuF guys put alot of time and effort in keep'n these boards up. Prophetus floats around kinna the way DarkBls does. and when he finds a violation in places he executes BuF justice, which may not fit into that group of fourmers and mods style. The other BuF mods would do the same if they floated around like he did. he also seems to have a weird attraction to heated arguments

I think it is important to know what happened. So before starting arguments or flamewar in knowing who banned him, why not ask to one of the powerfull admin that roams in the BuF OT forum ?


I propose you to PM them and ask why your buddy was banned. After all, this could be some kind of coincidence or error. These forums are vast, who knows if there isn't another MadB0mber who has been spreading s<b></b>hit in their forum and they banned their homonyms ?!?
