I installed the game, applied the correct 2.1 patch, I try to log on and it keeps saying "Username and password invalid', get this, I solve that problem, now I logged on, went to Multiplayer, found a server I wanted to join and it won't connect "'Unable To connect" error on screen! I check my firewall, internet connection, and nothing found wrong. Went back and logged on and the same things happened again!
What am I doing wrong?

Does rest of your internet connection and online games/applications work normally?
It could be something with your configuration, rename or delete your "Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Config" folder and let UT3 create clean new one.

Yes I did all that and my account has already started. It just don't want to connect to any server I choose on the list. I had to re edit this this reason;
Bad news is; it still does the same thing and I can sign in w/ username & password this time around, browse servers and all other stuff the only things I can't do is connect w/ someone's server or setting up a server my own. I also sent a few friend requests too.

Srry for the double post.
I'm leaving Ut3 and staying w/ UT2004. There's so much errors to worry about in that game. I think UT3 hates my PC lol.

Sorry that you had to learn the hard way.

At least Epic could have had the decency to include a flyswatter with each copy of UT3 for all the bugs that are in it.

Strange that most of the bugs don't seem happen with everyone.

Sounds like it could be a problem with the router, you might need to set up port forwarding (though I'm no savvy with that sort of thing). Try the troubleshooting forum, I'm sure someone will help out there http://forums.beyondunreal.com/forumdisplay.php?f=5

..and what's with guys using female characters in UT* anyway? Do they enjoy hearing women screaming in pain or something? Oh yeah, and some female characters sound like men when you shoot them. Man, this turned out way more confusing than before I started typing. :rant:

I've seen some claiming that the console command OPEN <network address> connects. If you can verify that this way works (since you do get a list of servers and their IP addresses), it would rule out the router.

I'd also check any port forwarding rules on the router. Maybe they point to another IP address. That is, the response coming back goes to a different device on the network.

Maybe check the release notes for troubleshooting information. You should find that document through the start menu item for UT3.
