OK friends, looks like I'm in some serious kind a shit over here.
No I was not arrested by the police, worse..
Our Webfreaks at the university decided to stop internet abuse by installing some sort of web filter: It took away sex-sites(who gives a ****?), game sites(what??) AND gun sites(WTFITBS??) and guess:
Yep, I am not longer able to visit Inf that regular. So don't wonder if I just hop in occasionally, I'm currently on proxy - which takes some more time than usual, but at least I'm able to download INF 2.8 when it comes out.

So, don't forget me totally, I'll sure as hell be back!!

Gaming sites? Thank god I connect through home, but if my ISP started to ban gun, game and porn sites, I'd start bombing them. /infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

OK, maybe not, but as they're also the major telephone company in Australia, they have a lot of possible targets.

Most uni's (such as mine) will only ban something if it genuinly offensive to some group (such as porn). But gaming sites? Whoever takes OFFENSE at a gaming site is in need of a stern talking too. Loudly.

Okay, when I 'circumvented' the system yesterday I found out something pretty funny:
I can't go to INF, but if I type in the forum address directly, I can post again!
Still a ****in' pity I can't visit INF regularliy.

And Bad.Mojo:
If the heck I knew the software, I knew how to pass it by, we have some good electronic engineers over here, but after all proxy works well for me.

So alarm over, Snakeye's back..

PS: Keep inform me when 2.8 comes out and it's time to proxy again!

There's always the simplest solution...

I like to call it "break the server".

Its where you go to the server room wearing steel toed boots, and kick in every damn piece of equipment you can, rip out all the RJ45's, etc.

Teach them to fuqaround with a page.
