Watched the first two, looks rather fun - and raised a question or two..

How is determined who's out of action? Especially in the first vid they shoot around wildly and I do think the guy with the camera got hit once or twice.

Are the guys playing that more fun or realism guys - I mean most shoot full auto and obviously more than 30rds out of a 30rd mag - or what SHOULD be a 30rd mag..

What range do those airsoft things have?

1. When you get hit by a bullet (called BB), you raise your arms/guns and yell "HIT" an go back to the Respawn or wait for a "Medic". You have to be honest to admit the Hit, cause you don`t see a Paint !
The guy in the vid didn`t got hit any time, but his Softgun makes annoying problems
2. Magazine Capacity:
-Realcaps: the capacity of their real counterparts
-Lowcaps: 50-70 BB`s
-Midcaps: 90-120 BB`s
-Highcaps: ~400 BB`s, but they are not realible
-Boxmag: for machineguns
I think they use Midcaps in the first vid
3. The range depends on many things, how storng is the spring, how tight is the barrel (most precision barrels have 6,03mm), what kind of BB`s you use and so on.
You can reach a wider range with a weak gun than a fully tuned up gun if u know how to tune
My Assault Rifles have a range of ~40m
The rifles in the 1st vid 60m, but they use very strong guns !

Honor based hit detection - we need that for Inf: "No I was NOT hit, but I'm pretty positive I hit you" - "Dude, you didn't even shoot!?!" - "Well, I hit you anyways now go respawn.."

I guess I really shouldn't start doing airsoft - I guess I'd get beaten to death for constantly meddling about how people must only use real cap mags. How "realistic" is the handling on those things anyway? E.g. take an M9, do you have to load the first round? Does the trigger work correctly for single and double action? Does the slide catch work when empty? Does the saftey work?

40m-60m range ain't too shabby for little plastic projectiles though..

Hahaha we always have discussions like that "Did i hit you, did i hit you not"
Forget those realcaps, you already blast away a Low-Cap in no time !

Okaaaayyy let`s get into the detail. There are several ways how softguns operate:
-Spring/Gas Cooking: You have to bolt repeat (sniper rifles) or pump repeat (shotguns) after every shot.
-Gas Blow Back: Pistols, small SMG`s, Semi Sniper and since a few months Assault Rifles. Yeah those are the things that may be interresting for you . You need a Gas to operate (C02 for example), and you handle them like a real gun. Pull back the slide/bolt to load the first BB, pull the trigger, the slide/bolt moves back, loading the next BB. And if mag-empty, the slide/bolt will be catched !! Fun to shoot with
-Automatic electric guns: The common one`s. Mostly used for SMG (MP5 size), Assault Rifles, Machine Guns, Semi Sniper. The spring will be pulled back by an electric motor. Can have a nice sound if tuned correctly . Some AEG models have blowback (only to feel a little recoil), and a few models simulate a bolt catch, they stop firing if mag-empty.
Yeah 40-60m ain`t to bad, but like i said before and depends on if you correctly tune up your gun (stronger spring doesn`t do the trick)

I was on a Game at the End of February on an old Russian Military Base/Ghost City near Milovice CZ. Hell i felt like in the game Stalker running between those old ruins
