Anyone here messed with TruForm?

Only ATi people need apply.

UT2004.ini > turn usenpatches to true, and then set the tesselation to a factor between 2 and 7.

Of course, you'll get a pretty big performance hit ;). I have a 3.4 ghz, 1gig DDR400, and an ATI 9700, and some models are worse then others.

It makes some models look sweet, some... deformed, and some, downright funny to look at (Re: Rocket Launcher)

It can yield some good results (last 3 :))... and some bad ones (first 2 :().

Edit: Widescreen > you

Hmmm I dont really see any difference between those models and my non-truformed models. I should give it a try at least....

TruForm simply performs realtime tesselation on the models, so on pretty high poly models such as 2K4 uses you'll get very little appreciable effect with a big performance hit. Therefore it's pretty pointless using it :) Try it with UT though, and it'll probably yield better results on the low poly models it uses.
