Any 360 owners?

Well, I finally broke down and bought my kids a new 360. This will be my third. LOL. I had run into some tough times in the past and had too sell the two I had.

I have been modding them on the side for some time now for my friends, nephews and their friends.

So anyways, if you have a 360, post your gamertag and you'll get a new friend.

Oh yeah, BTW, I'm still around. I still check these forums and BU almost daily to see what's going on, just haven't had the time to post anything. D'oh!

Yea, we was looking at PS3's this weekend. 40o is alot for a console but the added benefit of being able to play BlueRay movies makes it tempting. They ar elike 10 bucks more each for the movies. Wonder if NetFlix rents BlueRay?
Anyway, what do you mean by Modding the XBOX? The hardware or case?

Got an X360 2 weeks ago. My brother gave it to me. But there is a catch, it's got the red ring of death so I gotta send it to MS to get it fixed. I don't plan on plugging that piece of junk to the internet tho.

Everyone I know regrets getting the PS3 instead of the 360. The PS3 just doesn't have the game lineup the 360 has although it may catch up a little in 2009. XBOX live is also 100X better than what Sony is offering. My nephew has a PS3 and he's been trying to get his dad to trade it in for a 360 for a few weeks now. LOL

The ONLY upside to the PS3 is BluRay, BUT, MS is going to allow 3RD party BluRay players for the 360.

By Modding the 360, I mean by Modding the DVD drives firmware to allow "Backup" games on DL media to be played. It's like installing a modchip but you can do it yourself for nothing. The only catch is that with a Modded 360, there is always a chance your 360 can be banned from LIVE, but the last time they did a mass banning was almost a year ago and the firmware has gotten stealthier with each release. BTW if your 360 does get banned from LIVE, you can still play the games, you just can't use the LIVE features like Marketplace, Multiplayer, Friends, Messages, ETC...
