AntiCheat for UT2004/JB2004 ?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Anti TCC is Okay. I honestly wouldnt reccomend it.... It totally kills everyones ping. Lag is severe especially during Tcc checks. Mid game checks are a killer, and i mean that literally. Almost everyone dies during this cause of the slow down. I have also not heard a report back yet from Wormbo as to why his program searches outside of the Ut2004 folder. There is no reason and he wouldnt say as to why he implemented this.

yes. And don't install JB. Most JB players are common with the kickvote menu. Use it. Also when you use UT2Vote. That'd be enough to boot botters.

ps. did you check whether he used bot or not? Many people just say it just because they're better than themselves. If he did use a bot, what is his nick? I wanna hunt him down :D

You don't think he'd make his program ask you about looking outside the UT2004 folder if he meant to do something malicious, do you?

The only thing UnrealScript can do outside the UT2004 directory is look for the presence of files, and that's exactly what AntiTCC is doing to look for certain files indicating the presence of some external cheats. Somewhere in this thread Wormbo details what's happening.
