I dont think you understand that those 1 shot only hope you destroy what ever you are aiming at(disposible) missile launchers costs over $500,000 each. (I think) I dont understand how a mercsenary is going to afford one of those.

Not mercenary, but soldier. You get money from the govt. Anyways I think that sometimes you just have to stretch reality to have some fun. Infiltration won't be used to decide the fates of countries. of course that would be a good idea. Instead of actual killing, kill their virtual representation. That would be an effective (and fun /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif) alternative to war. Loki, that's just the way it's going to be. Just have fun with that AT4 and laugh when you blast someone to pieces, thanking Infiltration that they kept it

I'm sorry Loki, but you must have seen on the price of a continental missile or something. Short range disposable launchers is at about ½ the price of a M16, from there they go up to the price of small artillery.

Ahh, thank you Billdog. I was not aware of the actual price myself. It didn't seam right, sense you could make a relativly cheap ,low quality rocket launcher at home. (with adult supervision, of course)

Exactly- the Tomahawk cruise missiles cost apprx a million a piece.. simple rocket launchers like the AT4 are cheap. This isn't a heat or radar seaking launcher.. just a quick, disposable style deal that's made to bust armour. It can be mounted with a night vision scope, but I don't think we'll go THAT far. Level designers, if creative enough, could make bridges for instance that can be destroyed by either C4 or an AT4 to make it more difficult for the enemy to reach them.. at a high cost.. would take more than 1 C4 explosive or something.. or a building with a roof that can be collapsed.. all kinds of ways to make it fun to use the AT4- besides a first strike weapon or defense capabilities.

Mercenaries on the other hand, can still easily get this weapon on the black market.. For example.. during the gulf war, our military found Iraqis that had the same Night Vision goggles that the Americans had.. how did they get this?? well one reason was during the Iran/Iraq war, America was allies with Iraq and we kinda 'gave' a lot of weapons to them.. also has to do with that Iran contra affair stuff (trading hostages for guns during the beginning of the Reagan administration) I believe.. obviously easier than we may think..

Want another example? A few years ago, a bunch of Air Force people from different jobs on a base tried to sneak an F-16 engine (!!!) off the base in pieces at a time.. even some gate gaurds were in on it.. they had it all set up to sell to some military surplus place.. only the OSI (Office of Special Investigation) and FBI found out and it was all a setup.. people will do anything for money!

Great idea! Blowing up a bridge when the opposing team is too stupid to send a scout.
See the example of DMRyan.

Thank you Billdog for telling me the price.
but what about stingers, arn't they heatseeking?
Also, I think anti tank explosives don't make a huge explosion thats more of a HE round

Stinger missiles are meant more for air to air targets because yes, they're heat seaking.. As of now, there won't be any reason to knock out air targets in version 3- though it would be cool, it's just not a good idea right now..

and AT4 rounds are HEAT rounds.. High Explosive Anti Tank rounds... nuff said.
