First time visiting in close to five years, and I saw Chronic and Mojo had posted. So I will too. What did I do with those five years that was more worthwhile than the Off Topic board? I quit school, got a real job, got married, had a kid. Not much else... Trying to start a side business, does anyone want a deck, gazebo or shed built in the Ottawa area? Who's still around from 2003/2004?

Hello and welcome back - I'd just wish some of the oldtimers would stay a bit longer and not just say "hello", would bring back a bit of life probably. It's good to see you didn't forget about this place though .

Also what's the problem with kids? If he's old enough (4?) get him his own rig and teach him how to play Inf - I'm sure he beat's half the server population in DTAS/TDM before he's 5. Also IIRC there are some other father/son teams in Inf. Give it a try

Hell one of my nephews is 5 and a bloody genius! He's already pretty good at BF2, when he gets a bit better i'll introduce him to INF, and then hopefully R6 Vegas.

I'm no old timer (only starting lurking mid '03 or 04), but it is kinda sad seeing the whole forum go prety much quite. I reckon there must be less than a dozen people who still visit at least once a week, even Off Topic, which is usually so busy and full of rubbish and trash talk is so quite... i hope all our favourite annoyances haven't been banned?

Me neither, and while i rarely play INF anymore, i've most turned to concentrating on my modding of Company of Heroes, and severe bouts of IL2 Sturmovik, R6 Vegas, or BF2. At least the latter 2 aren't so bad...

I've been playing a lot of the Project Reality Mod for BF2. That has some real intense moments, and realism is pretty good. Plus teamwork tends to be very good.
