At least they could have bother to put the "huh" for every voice pack.
Some characters have some speech in the default male voice, instead of their own. That sucks.

I'm sorry about that, I was in a real cheerfull mood :) I didn't mean to threadcrap. Apologies if it came across like that.
I suppose I can understand that those sounds .. could get to someone ? (I've never had a problem with any of the UT player sounds - be it for any game) But that's just me.

I wish I could help you out, but even if someone offers a workaround/sollution you should be careful editing excisting packages.
Although, it's most likely (as dark pulse said) not possible.

Oh and btw:

If it was up to me, they'd be completely gone  So, just be glad it isn't up to me :p

Ahh, memories. I feel like I'm in the RuneScape Rants forum, where people complain about almost every little thing it's incredible.

Anyway, I think ambershee is right. You can create your own character with custom sounds, including the double jump sound. But you can't change the single jump sound (TBH it sounds like some static noise on most surfaces to me...).

there's a few ways you can do it.

1) open your Dos shell and type " format C:*.* " without the quotes, then go play Wii.

2) don't jump

3) stick your head up your ass to muffle the sounds

4) watch the " how to make mod videos", and make your own mutator that kills the calls to the sounds you don't like.

of course the last one will only work in offline games, online games that you run, or on any server with an admin who you can convince to run it for you.

You HAVE gotten answers to your problem. Learn how to make a mutator that disables the sounds or make a custom player class. That's about all you can do short of editing your core packages and breaking online compatibility completely.
